Northern Route
Northern Route is owned and run by Andy Griffiths, who qualified in 1988 as an Approved Driving Instructor then in 1996 as a Motorcycle Instructor after many years as a keen motorcyclist.
He is one of the most highly qualified motorcycle instructors in the South Cumbria and North Lancashire area after attending the Driving Standards Agency's centre at Cardington, Bedfordshire for the Direct Access Scheme (DAS) and Instructor Assessor qualifications.
Andy has also completed the Special Test only open to DAS Approved Motorcycle Instructors, is an active Member/Senior Observer of the local Institute of Advanced Motorist group (IAM), and works with Lancashire (County Council) Road Safety Partnership assisting on all the courses they run, from 'Speed Awareness' to free Assessments.
